Adobe #PhotoJam

Monica's outtakes from the Adobe #PhotoJam event. She and 17 more of Miami's top photographers were selected to compete in this one day assignment.

 

A theme of "Getting to Know Your Neighborhood" was announced at 7AM, and photographers had until 5PM to shoot.

 

Ironically, Monica was inbetween homes as she had taken the month off to work on an ongoing long term documentary project in Michigan.

 

Instead of selecting one particular neighborhood, she focused on the transient nature that is South Florida by stopping on routes and familiar places from her 11 years of habitation between Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties. Beginning at sunrise in Tequesta, she ended the project in Little River, Miami.
